Hello All, Sorry that I have been neglecting my blog this past week but I have been battling kidney stones and now I think I have the flu! But in all of this sickness I was so excited to check my Tpt store to find I now have 100 followers! It has been almost exactly one year since I started this blog and creating for TpT and I have to say it has made me a better teacher. I find myself planning ahead more, being more in depth in my lesson planning and being a more exciting teacher. Thanks to all of the great blogs and teacher sharing out there, I appreciate all of you!
Read the room is an excellent center activity! I use read the room almost daily in my classroom for literacy, vocabulary, letter recognition, spelling patterns and much more! I have created a bundle of read the room activities that are differentiated in order to meet the needs of all of your students no matter what level they are on. I am a firm believer in making my classroom an environment where all children are successful and feel confident in their learning. Differentiation is just one way to help those children who may be behind or even ahead to grow and flourish in the classroom. The goal is the same: learning, irregardless of where we start we want children to learn at a pace that does not frustrate and overwhelm. My Differentiated Read the Room Files contain 3 sets of picture cards. Oh, that's terrible. I went through that last year and have never been in that much pain in my life. I took a LOT more pain meds during kidney stones than I did after both of my c-sections combined. I hope this passes quickly and you get over the flu soon.
