A bundle for Drew- fundraiser for brain surgery

When I think about the word bundle I think about the cold winter and being all curled up under blankets on the couch watching a good movie. For Drew however being all bundled up on the couch is not possible, he is spending his winter days in the hospital. Drew was diagnosed with Juvenial Rheumatoid Arthritis a couple of years ago and when he got strep last year it went to his brain causing intense pain, pressure and an inability to walk. The Doctors have tried everything and Drew was able to live at a tolerable pain level for a while. Now he is back in the hospital in a great deal of pain awaiting a much needed surgery on his brain. Because this surgery has never been performed on a child the families insurance has denied coverage. The Dr. has waived his fee however the family is still looking at $20,000.00+ out of pocket. This surgery is a last resort to try to get Drew a pain free, normal childhood.
http://i1311.photobucket.com/albums/s677/prekchristine/drew2-001_zpse0ad3925.jpg I have created 2 huge bundles of products that have been donated by TpT teachers from around the country. There are some great resources in these bundles. You can view a thumbnail for each product in the preview and the page has a link to each product listing as well. Each bundle is worth well over $100.00! You can own all of these amazing products for a $15.00 donation! You can use the following links to see each bundle: A bundle for Drew Pre-k through 1st A bundle for Drew 2nd through 6th This is a wonderful family that needs prayers for strength and health! *****Update: Drew was sent home from the hospital still in severe pain. The ICU feels that there is nothing else they can do to help. I cannot imagine watching my child like Melissa is having to watch Drew. The bundles so far have raised $300.00. I know we can raise much more than that so please keep promoting and sharing Drew's story. Thank you for everything you are all doing to help.********* Blessings, Christine

Winter Activities, Word of the day Calendar and 2 freebies!

Finally blogger and I are no longer at odds with each other and I can post the photos I have been wanting to show you for the last week! My kiddos and I have been working on many activities from several of my winter units on tpt. I am so proud of their hard work, after all they are only 4! Below are pictures of the work we have done with my Build a Snowman CVC Unit, Winter print and go Unit and my Winter Animals Unit. I am especially proud of how much their handwriting has improved and the ability to work independently is finally kicking in. My new Word of the Day calendar and journal is a huge hit in my classroom. The kiddos are so excited each morning to learn our word of the day and how to use it in a sentence. I hope you will take a minute to check these units out in my store, I know you will enjoy everything they have to offer. While you are there be sure to download my Shape Snowman Freebie and my How many snowballs tall are you? Non standard measurement Freebie! Till next time, Christine
