There was good and there was bad, there was fun and there were tears, but all in all I will miss another class of special children and their families. With 14 four year olds this was a busy year, I know many of you have many more students and I applaud you for what you do everyday! I will miss the hugs and smiles, the innocent questions and the puzzled looks. But I will remember fondly the lightbulb moments, the growth and the laughter. I will relish the friendships that grew with a little direction and the developmental milestones I was blessed to have seen. 2011-2012 was my seventh year teaching Pre-K at Round Rock Christian Academy in Round Rock ,Tx and I look forward to many more years of Pre-Kers! Have a wonderful summer you awesome teachers!!!!
Read the room is an excellent center activity! I use read the room almost daily in my classroom for literacy, vocabulary, letter recognition, spelling patterns and much more! I have created a bundle of read the room activities that are differentiated in order to meet the needs of all of your students no matter what level they are on. I am a firm believer in making my classroom an environment where all children are successful and feel confident in their learning. Differentiation is just one way to help those children who may be behind or even ahead to grow and flourish in the classroom. The goal is the same: learning, irregardless of where we start we want children to learn at a pace that does not frustrate and overwhelm.
